A kidnapper was leaving a gas station at Birmingham, Alabama, when the trunk of the car suddenly popped up and his victim managed to escape. The 25-year-old woman ran into the store where she desperately asked for help.
She had been abducted from outside her apartment some minutes before. The criminal forced her into the trunk of her own car and then use her credit card to withdraw money from an ATM at the gas station.
Yosef Alsabah, the owner, told the man became violent when the machine notified him there were insufficient funds. He then watched him pulling out of the parking spot and the woman coming from the trunk.
“I got her inside and locked the door, then called the police,” he said.
