Jonathan Lopez, from San Bernardino, California, seemed doomed to failure during a New Year’s Jenga party. There was no possible move to do. So he tried the impossible: to move simultaneously a pair of bricks that were at the edge of the tower.
Jonathan gripped the pieces firmly and, after a countdown, took them away. Believe it or not, the tower fell perfectly still. He then put the blocks on top of the pile.
“I thought the game was basically over so decided to do something stupid but funny,” Jonathan said. “Honestly, I really never thought I was going to be able to succeed and was more worried about the tower falling on my head. It wasn’t until I looked up and realised the blocks hadn’t fallen that I smiled wide and raised my hands out of excitement.”
