Stephanie Potakis, 32, from Greater Chicago, Illinois, hadn’t eaten meat since the fourth grade. She became a vegetarian to protect the environment.
After 22 years of vegetarianism, she decided it was enough. So she went to Swift & Sons, a steakhouse in Chicago, to eat some quality meat dishes.
She tried chicken, bone marrow and wagyu beef. Her face lit up with pleasure at the first bite of chicken.
“I get what juicy means now,” she said. “The flavors are just oozing out in everyone. It doesn’t happen with vegetables, ever.”
