Brett Stanford, Derek Herron and Scott Gaunson from Australian YouTube Channel How Ridiculous broke the world record for the Greatest height from which a basketball is shot. They first achieved the title in 2011 with a 219 feet shot, but American YouTube Channel Dude Perfect broke their record from a height of 533 feet earlier this year.
With a new attempt at Mauvoisin Dam in Valais, Switzerland, they managed to net a basketball from a staggering height of 593.73 feet. Herron was the one who took the shot.
“It was a surreal moment nailing it on the third shot. I watched the ball head towards the rim and saw the net move but still had my doubts that it went in until I saw Scott going crazy,” he explained.
