Jesse Puryear was traversing class IV rapids in Tennessee’s Ocoee River, in the US, when he decided to proposed to his girlfriend. In fact it was all planned in advance. But it probably wasn’t a good idea.
It was an incredible moment when he got down on one knee and pop the question. Her girlfriend couldn’t believe it.
She said yes and everybody in the bote celebrated it. The problem was that the ring, at one time affixed to his life jacket, soon after slipped away and nearly wound up in the river.
However, after some tense moments and a bit of panic, the ring was located before taking a plunge into the water below. It could have been a disaster, but it wasn’t. Another happy ending after all.
